Character IP Licensing FAQ · Character Link

Practical answers for companies preparing character licensing and brand collaboration proposals with Character Link.

What collaborations can I propose?

You may propose merchandise licensing, brand collaborations, content or design use, overseas agency or distribution partnerships and IP business development consultation. Available scope depends on the IP and agreement.

What should a licensing enquiry include?

Email your company introduction, selected IP, target territory, product categories and sales channels, collaboration type, proposed launch date and questions to ceo@characterlink.co.kr.

Is every IP available in every territory?

Territories, categories, channels, term and exclusivity depend on each IP’s rights and existing agreements. The proposed scope must be confirmed before contract.

What are the royalty and minimum guarantee (MG)?

Terms are discussed individually after reviewing the IP, territory, category, sales plan, contract term and licensed rights. A website introduction does not constitute a quotation or licence.

Can website artwork be used in products or advertising immediately?

Public display does not grant usage permission. Artwork may be used only within the authorised scope after the required agreement, artwork and sample approval procedures.

Can overseas partners and IP holders contact you?

We welcome international partnership proposals and consultation enquiries from creators and IP holders. Participation in the IP Insight & Development Program is discussed after consultation.
